Engineering Manager (Mechanical / Chemical / Civil)
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil Engineering discipline
- A member of Board of Engineer Malaysia (BEM)
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer
- At least 8 years of experience in both system design and site works, preferably with experience in water and sewage treatment industry
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess superior engineering skills and familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with management to set and achieve goals based on priorities of project execution and support of inter-departments
- Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines and multi-tasking in project tender, design, implementation and management
Responsibilities:-
- Supervise and manage a team of engineers to propose, design and implement projects
- Establish milestone and optimise resources allocation for each project
- Review and evaluate detailed water / sewage designs and submissions for approval
- Exercise diligence in making sound decisions to protect the Company’s interest
- Interact with all engineering disciplines (internal and external) to analyse complex engineering problems and offer effective solutions
- Prepare specification, selection and purchases of equipment and sub-contractor to meet project requirements
- Establish and maintain positive working relationship with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers
- Responsible for continuous planning, monitoring and control of the project
Engineer (Mechanical / Chemical / Civil / Electrical)
Requirements:-
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil / Electrical Engineering discipline with at least 3 years of working experience.
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD
- Possess leadership quality and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-starter, quality conscious, mature and responsible
- Take initiative by accepting responsibility above and beyond assigned tasks and by contributing new ideas
- Possess own transport and willingness to travel are prerequisites
Responsibilities:-
- Familiarise with project tendering, design, implementation and management
- Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers and sub-contractors on technical clarifications
- Supervise and coordinate plant installation, testing and commissioning
- Conduct factory inspection of equipment
