Industrial Wastewater Treatment Services

In line with the country's industrialisation program during the early 90s, we leveraged on our experience and track record in environmental engineering to provide industrial wastewater treatment services to various industries. During that period, we had built close to 50 wastewater treatment plants for chemical, food, rubber, oil slope and metal industries with our in-house treatment processes.

Water Enginnering

In mid 1990s, we made a major presence in the municipal water treatment market with the award of the water treatment plant for Sg. Selangor Phase 2 Water Supply Scheme with a total treatment capacity of 950,000m³/day. With that thrust, the Company managed to sustain our achievements in many other water engineering projects until today (including treatment works, pump stations, distribution and supply system etc).

Solid Waste Collection

In 1993, the company acquired and consolidated several solid waste collection companies and turned ourselves into market leader in the solid waste management business.

Solid Waste Concession

In 1995, the Company, via a joint venture in Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd, emerged as the concessionaire for the 20-year Air Hitam Sanitary Landfill concession, the first and the largest sanitary landfill in Malaysia capable of handling the disposal of up to 3,000 tonnes of solid waste per day.

Sewage Treatment

Year 2000 marked another key achievement for the Company when we were contracted to undertake the Mechanical, Electrical and Process Works for the Bayan Baru Sewage Treatment Plant with a capacity of 200,000 Population Equivalent following the re-nationalisation of IWK by the Federal Government. Today, we have secured/built/invested/operated more than 10 large-scale sewage treatment projects with the total treatment capacity equal to 2.7 million Population Equivalent, the largest track record in the country.

Water Concession

In Year 2001, our pursuit as a joint venture partner in the 30-year Sg. Semenyih Water Privatisation Scheme materialised. The entire scheme comprised Sg. Semenyih Dam, Sg. Semenyih Water Treatment Plant (545,000m³/day), an Intake and Raw Water Pumping Station, a Dam Water Transfer Facility and a Lake Water Transfer Facility.

Drainage solutions

The latest portfolio added to the Company was in drainage and flood mitigation in Year 2007 when we secured the Flood Mitigation Scheme in Kawasan Bertam, Kepala Batas.

Green Cycle for Water and Waste

Today, we pride ourselves as a Integrated Solution Provider in Green Cycle for Water and Waste, ensuring:
- Clean water for use and consumption by households and industries;
- Safe discharge of treated effluent from sewage into the water course;
- Safe collection, disposal and management of solid waste;
- Mitigation of flooding via improvement/upgrading in the drainage system;
- Reuse and recycling of water and waste in economically viable manner.

We are entrusted by the community to take care of the basic amenities in water and waste, and in doing do, we make sure the environment is protected and reusable resources from the waste are recycled so as to achieve a comfortable and sustainable LIVING WELL environment.
