LEACHATE TREATMENT

Wastes arrive at the landfill usually carry with them "leachate" which is the liquid compound contained in the wastes. If not given proper treatment, this liquid can pollute the environment easily especially water sources such as rivers and streams.

Before leachate can be treated, proper planning is required to collect the liquid using underground piping system within the landfill cell and transfer it to an oxidation pond installed with aeration equipment. With the correct design and sizing of the biological process, the leachate can be treated into effluent safe for discharge.

However, by installing proper filtration system, the treated effluent can be recycled for use in the sanitary landfill itself, which is in line with the concept of green cycle for water reuse.
CONTAINERS & TRUCKS

Containers and trucks are 2 important components for effective and efficient management of solid waste.

With our years of experience in the industry, we can provide our customers with cost effective and optimum solutions in the planning and utilisation of these resources to avoid wastage.
SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

We are the leader in industrial and commercial waste management services, serving more than 20,000 industrial and trade premises such as hotels, shopping complexes and commercial buildings, as well as private and public institutions.

We also provide comprehensive environmental solutions to local municipalities and building & construction industries ranging from haulage to waste minimisation and recycling.

Included in our range of end-to-end services are:

i) industrial waste, commercial waste, construction waste and municipal waste collection and disposal;
ii) waste container management;
iii) recycling, composting and landfilling services; and
iv) liquid waste collection and disposal.

TRANSFER STATION

From collection to disposal of solid waste, we have the ability and strength to provide an integrated environmental infrastructure services which include engineering, building, testing and commissioning of Transfer Stations.

Deemed as an intermediate facility capable of improving the efficiency of solid waste transportation, small truck loads of solid waste are combined and transferred to bigger trucks at Transfer Station before sending for disposal.

As a commitment to making environmental management an integral part of our operations, we can also build in sorting and recycling facilities at the Transfer Station.
RECYCLING & COMPOSTING

While the Government is promoting the 3R Concept (Reduce, Reuse and Recycling) at source among the consumers, sorting and recycling of solid waste components are still very much our daily business.

The lightweight packaging materials such as papers, plastics, aluminium cans etc. contained in bags, bins and containers arrives at our sorting and recycling facilities in mixed form and after being sorted carefully, these non-organic fraction can be wrapped into bales for supplying to factories as industrial fuel due to their high caloric values.

For truck loads containing mostly organic compounds such as wood waste, kitchen waste etc, their homogenous characteristics make it suitable to be composted into bio-fertilizer using specially cultivated microbes under controlled environment.
SANITARY LANDFILL

Sanitary landfill is an indispensable component in our country's existing waste disposal which promotes a non-polluting concept. By employing geotextile lining complete with leachate collection pipeline and methane gas harvesting, sanitary landfill is by far the most practical environmental solution for solid waste disposal in the country.

As a joint venture partner in Worldwide Landfills Sdn Bhd, we are part of the concessionaire managing the Air Hitam, Jeram and Kuala Langat Sanitary Landfills in Selangor which are among the largest in the country.

Since the Air Hitam Sanitary Landfill has reached its maturity after 15 years in operations, we are currently harvesting the methane gas produced by the waste to generate up to 2MW of electricity for supplying to TNB.
